In front of the villa are uninterrupted views across the valley to the pretty hilltop village of Benitachell, where the church is lit at night. The front door opens into the entrance hall off which is the lounge with open plan kitchen. The lounge is comfortably furnished, very bright and features a high beamed ceiling. A door from here leads to the sun lounge/dining room. Both the lounge and sun room open out to the extensive terrace by the pool. A number of parasols offer welcome shade in the summer. The garden is on several levels, featuring a number of trees, including a magnificent carob tree that gives the villa its name. On one of the lower terraces, just by the pool, is a delightful pergola, perfect for relaxing quietly in the shade. The pergola is furnished with a table and chairs and equipped with a portable barbecue. A passage from the entrance hall leads to the bedrooms, shower room and bathroom. The villa is situated within walking distance (about a 15 minute walk) of Benitachell village - a pretty, traditional village with narrow streets, a covered market and a number of very "Spanish" bars. A very well stocked supermarket is a 10 minute walk. The lovely beach at Cumbre del Sol is just over the hill from the villa, about 5,5 Kms away.
